She made history by winning back-to-back gold medals in the 10m air rifle standing event at both the 2024 Paris Paralympics and the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, showcasing her exceptional talent and determination. Early Life and Education

At just 11 years old, Avani Lekhara’s life took a dramatic turn after a car accident in 2012 left her with complete paraplegia. Currently pursuing a law degree at Rajasthan University, India, Avani Lekhara’s journey in academics began at Kendriya Vidyalaya 3 (Jaipur), where she earned her first gold medal in a regional shooting competition. Career
